From its
inception in 1967, the American Marketing Association (AMA)
of California State University, Fullerton has been actively
supporting students’ interests in marketing. Being the first
business organization campus, AMA continuously strives to
set standards for other business organizations on campus to
follow.
Currently, AMA
provides its members with a variety of events and services
to enhance their educational experience and provide

The AMA strives for diversity
and attempts to offer you an assortment of marketing topics
through its various events. Last academic year, speaker
meetings and company tours were hosted by professionals from
Pepsi Bottling Group, Black & Decker, Curtis Chan Marketing
Services, Kent. H. Landsberg and many others
Last year, AMA also had its 1st
Annual Gala: “A New Day.” This event combined networking,
community service and fundraising efforts that included a
fashion show, silent auction and raised $1,050 for the
Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
AMA also participates in an
annual conference that AMA members from all across the
nation participate in networking with other students and
attend informational seminars on various marketing topics.
This year the conference will take place New Orleans,
Louisiana.
